I somehow knew that the particulars didn’t matter. She was my heart, she was half of me, and nothing, certainly not a few measly hundred miles, was ever going to change that.
Aaron had it all planned out for weeks! Lenzi and Aaron’s first date was on Valentines Day of 2012, where he took Lenzi to Arlington Drafthouse; an old style theater where they serve dinner and drinks. Every year following the couple would attend the Drafthouse on Valentine day where they would watch the movie from their first date, The Princess Bride. On October 23rd, 2014 Aaron asked Lenzi to meet him at the Drafthouse where from there they would walk to “lunch” together. As Lenzi walked into the Drafthouse she heard “their song” come on and looked up to see Aaron in a suite on stage with champagne and roses. After Lenzi said “YES” the two of them had a private showing of The Princess Bride!
