In August 2024, we had the absolute honor of photographing Jordann and Vinhil’s stunning wedding at the hotel Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City, Maryland. The ceremony took place outdoors on the resort’s expansive golf course, beneath a custom-designed wedding arch. Towering trees surrounded the ceremony site, creating a natural canopy that gave the space an intimate, magical feel. The weather that day was a dream — crisp, cool, and gentle, with no harsh sunlight or rain — allowing for the perfect soft, even lighting for their wedding portraits.

One of my favorite parts about photographing Jordann and Vinhil’s wedding was simply being immersed in nature right before the ceremony — breathing in the fresh air, feeling the calm energy of the landscape, and preparing to document the day ahead. The towering trees provided natural shade, giving their portraits a soft, even glow and ensuring that they remained the radiant focal point in every image.
